Heat Banga Brings the Heat to Southern California

July 6, 2012 - PRLog -- Marcel Robinson better known as Heat Banga began producing beats during his short stint as a rapper. After purchasing beats from other producers and not quite getting the sound he needed, Heat Banga bought a four track studio, along with other equipment and began creating songs. For Heat, the learning process was pretty much trial and error. “I used to write beats for other rappers and pretty much give them away to gain experience”, says Heat Banga. “Pretty soon I started getting a lot of word of mouth referrals and business grew.”

Heat Banga describes his music as a soundscape of different musical themes that embrace Hip Hop and R&B. Heat Banga says, “I get inspired by music from my favorite producers, DJ Premier and DJ Quick. I also try to do something that’s completely different from what’s out there. My sound is ever changing.”

Heat Banga uses an assortment of computer software and Midi controllers to develop tracks. His approach to making beats is, to allow artists to provide their input as they are working on a track. “This creates a good working vibe and creates a lot of energy.”, says Heat Banga. He then puts the finishing touches on the record, making sure the mix is good and that the song has a smooth melody. Heat Banga is concerned with providing the best overall sound to ensure the project is a success.

Heat Banga is looking to expand his market as he is now calling Northern and Southern California home. He is looking to work with singers and rappers who are surveying for new musical compositions with distinctive harmonies and melodies.
