Sullivan Brothers Builders Selected As Home Builder For Springwoods Village Development

July 9, 2012 - PRLog -- (HOUSTON) JUNE 28, 2012 – Houston-based Sullivan Brothers Builders has been selected as one of three home-builders for the new Springwoods Village planned community being built near the ExxonMobil campus, currently under construction north of Houston. Sullivan Brothers will be developing and building a pocket community named Harper Woods, which is a new urbanist community, reflecting the elements and character of traditional neighborhoods.
Sullivan Brothers is the only builder within the selected group to build two types of home styles – single-family homes and townhomes, ranging from 1,500 - 3,000 sq ft. and beginning in the low $300s. Construction of homes, which will overlook the Spring Grove natural park and adjacent community trails, will begin in January 2013 with model homes expected the following Fall.

A primary emphasis of the Springwoods Development Standards and Guidelines is to reduce the impacts on natural resources, specifically water and energy, used in the operation of a home. Sullivan Brothers has a long history of adopting innovative energy efficiency techniques in the home building process. These techniques include the use of spray foam insulation provided by EnergyGuard foam insulators, efficient plumbing systems, and high efficiency HVAC systems.

Solar paneling, along with the use of EnergyGuard spray foam insulation, will make the homes being built in Harper Woods at Springwoods Village the most energy efficient Sullivan Brothers homes built to date.
