“God Particle” Gets Radio Airplay Direct

July 9, 2012 - PRLog -- The science fiction concept album by Xeno Giraffe –  “EONS AGO” – is a little closer to science fact than fiction in concept , as the Higgs Boson God Particle is discovered at the same time –  the song “God Particle” is released to Airplay Direct for radio stations to broadcast to their music fans.

Released a month before the discovery of the Higgs Boson God Particle (which seems to be a field that permeates the mass of the known Universe), the album “EONS AGO”, as a concept, dealt with the origin of the Universe on a science fiction basis with a story line, or musical arc. “God Particle” –  the song – is being released to Airplay for distribution to DJs – and radio stations – everywhere for musical consumption, display, and as a salute to the modern scientists for their historic discovery.

The Origin of the Universe is recreated with immodest zeal on “EONS AGO” with tunes like “Cauldron of Creation”, “God Particle”, “Dark Matter”, and “Electron Emergence”.  All are currently subjects of heavy inquiry and discussion in the science world today.

“I like science, and scientists are my heroes, with caveats. Of course, I took a chance at looking foolish releasing “EONS AGO” before the results were in from the CERN atom smasher,” said Xeno Giraffe. “It would put a hole in my musical plot line to have discovered that the Universe does NOT conform with The Standard Model Of Particle Physics.”

The AirPlay singles being released are from two albums that are tied together in a sci-fi epic tale of why we have “everything out of nothing.”

From “EONS AGO” there is “God Particle”, “Android Woman Recall”, “Future Tense”, and “Terror From The Sky”.

These seven songs will be released simultaneously for radio air play starting July 10th next week, and are included in the digital press kit from AirPlay Direct.

“My intention is to re-invigorate the concept album for a modern listening public. That goal is no small task, because the obstacle to a grand obsession is funding,” said Xeno Giraffe. “Which I am currently working on. It won't effect the 2012 Summer Of Xeno Giraffe campaign going on now.”

The music covers many genres that include Electronic, Rock, Hip-Hop, Funk, Folk, Country, Jazz, and the Blues to tell a tale of what might have happened to cause “something” to occur, which has been a vexing argument among philosophers, since the Greek concept of the “atom” to the Arabic idea of “zero”.

“Looking forward, after the God Particle discovery – the ultimate 'holy grail' of science would be the Quantum Theory Of Gravity – and I hope to be around to write a song about it,” said Xeno Giraffe.
