ISTA Production Company Presents “The Cotton Candy Club" Interactive Theatre for Fathers Forever

July 10, 2012 - PRLog -- Raleigh, N.C. (July, 10, 2012) –Inside the Area Production Company (ISTA) will host The Cotton Candy Club Interactive theatre as a fundraiser for Fathers Forever on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at  Greater Love Church 2421 Timber Drive Raleigh, NC.   The night's entertainment begins at 7:00 p.m. and will wrap up by 9:30 p.m.  The cost is $15 in advance and $20 at the door.  Tickets are available at http://www.eventbrite.com/event/3715206282.  The night's proceeds will benefit fathers forever non-profit. Refreshments will be served.

The Cotton Candy Club is an Interactive theatre.   The goal is to provide a setting where a united audience and performers can abandon status and inhibitions while venturing into a realm of play, imagination and fantasy.   The actors take it a step further by partnering with the audience to transform reality into fantasy. They utilize a script, improvisation and audience participation to advance the story and the audience fun.
This will be a fundraiser to help the Fathers Forever Program achieve their goal within the program.

Sponsors, vendors, and advertisers participating in the event will gain exposure through Facebook, Twitter, flyers, and email blasts before and after the event. Inside the Area Production Company will work diligently to develop an elegant event that is beneficial to all participants.

Synopsis
Sugar Calloway has made up his mind that the time is "right" to sell the club. He is sure to make a substantial profit, especially since it's unlikely he will share any of the proceeds with his punch-drunk half-brother, Eddie "The Looker" who is a little more than a lackey to Sugar … not so smart but a big ladies man.  Although Sugar hasn’t disclosed the identity of the buyers, it is rumored that he is selling the club to the Kapones, since he and Al Kapone's eldest daughter Alberta, have been spending a lot of time together. Alberta is in a bit of a pinch since her father has decided to take Madam Milano as his wife (which is Al's longtime friend). After all these years, Alberta is afraid that her reign as the Queen of the family will be over and she will be cut out of the family empire.

About ISTA Production Company:
Director and Playwright Tamika Morris have been in Event Production since 2002. Tamika was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York where she got her love for the theater. Tamika was an unwilling party being drag by her grandmother to production after production of Broadway and off Broadway plays. Tamika finally grew to love the theatre at a very young age. Tamika has been in or works on every production that was offered from middle school to college.

In 2009 Tamika started her director career with a dinner theatre production of the Tony Lou awards. Tamika directed her first original pay in 2009 called The Cotton Candy Club.  She has a total of 9 successful stage productions under her belt and countless other event production from Christmas events for children with autism to Black Tie fundraising event for Special needs children.
