Follow on Google News | Shepherd’s Village to Host Fifth Third Bank’s Financial Empowerment WorkshopsFifth Third Bank is partnering with Shepherd’s Village during the months of July and August to bring Financial Empowerment Workshops to the community. The first Workshop will be held tonight, July 10 from 6:30 – 8 PM.
In “Understanding and Improving Your Credit,” Fifth Third Bank will discuss and explain credit scores. They will also assist you in learning how to fix credit or establish and maintain good credit. During session two, “Saving and Budgeting,” financial experts will provide you with helpful budgeting tips and create a budget calculator based on your lifestyle. Session three, “Buying and Leveraging Your Home,” covers important information to consider when buying a home; in addition to teaching you the difference been a variable rate vs. a fix rate mortgage. In “Identity Protection,” Shepherd’s Village, a ministry of New Life Solutions, is a transitional Christian Residential Ministry for single-parents and their children. It provides new hope and a fresh start by establishing a stable family life through spiritual and emotional health, financial and life skill training, and making educational and career development goals.
