The Laredo UFO Conference is sponsored by the Webb County Heritage Foundation. The aforementioned Stanton Friedman will be the keynote speaker at the Laredo UFO Conference this year. Friedman is best known for exposing, in 1978, the top secret military cover-up of the Roswell UFO Crash. Since then, he has been highly in demand throughout the world, for his expertise on the subject of UFOs. It was while appearing at the annual Roswell UFO Festival on July 1, 2012, that Friedman was first shown video evidence from Laredo by Ismael Cuellar. In addition to Friedman, the Laredo UFO conference also features cosmologist Paul Von Ward, whose book We’ve Never Been Alone, proposes that we have been visited throughout our history by beings from an advanced civilization. Von Ward is internationally known for the hypothesis of the intervention of these advanced beings in human development; Also speaking will be Noe Torres, author of Fallen Angel: UFO Crash Near Laredo, Texas. In addition to being an author, Torres is also a publisher, UFO investigator, and member of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). He is the author of Ultimate Guide to the Roswell UFO Crash and a number of other books related to the UFO phenomenon. Torres holds a Bachelor’s in English and a Master’s in Library Science from the University of Texas at Austin. With California UFO researcher Ruben Uriarte, he has written three books: Mexico’s Roswell: The Chihuahua UFO Crash, The Other Roswell: UFO Crash on the Texas-Mexico Border, and Aliens in the Forest: The Cisco Grove UFO Encounter. He debuted his book Fallen Angel at the first-annual Laredo UFO Conference in November 2011. With Roswell historian John LeMay, Torres wrote The Real Cowboys & Aliens: UFO Encounters of the Old West. He also served as editor and publisher of the books Roswell USA by John LeMay, Roswell Alien Autopsy by Philip Mantle, and Russia’s Roswell Incident by Paul Stonehill and Philip Mantle. Torres has appeared on the History Channel’s “UFO Hunters,” Coast to Coast AM, the Jeff Rense program, and many other media outlets. He is also a frequent lecturer at UFO conferences and appears annually at the Roswell UFO Festival. He was a featured speaker at the 2011 Laredo UFO Conference, along with world-famous UFO abductee Travis Walton. The Laredo UFO Conference will also feature highly-regarded Mexican UFO researchers Diana Perla Chapa and Jeronimo Flores. Chapa is a distinguished UFO investigator from Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. After having an encounter herself at age 9, she became very interested in the phenomena and has studied it for over 30 years. She is the founder of Mexico’s well-known Ovni Club of Nuevo Leon and has been the club’s director for 18 years. Flores, on the other hand, is the director of Organización Mexicana de Investigadores del Fenómeno Ovni (OMIFO), the Mexican counterpart of MUFON. He is also assistant director of the OVNI Club of Nuevo León and has his own radio program about UFOs. Flores has spoken on numerous occasions at the Roswell UFO Festival in Roswell, New Mexico. In addition, Ismael Cuellar and the Laredo Paranormal Research Society will present the group’s latest, amazing research on UFO sightings in the Laredo area, as well as their research into the Marfa Lights phenomenon.
