TC Wallace Foundation Extends Model Search for its 1st Annual AIDS/HIV Awareness Fashion Show Event

July 12, 2012 - PRLog -- WASHINGTON, D.C., June 12, 2012 – TC Wallace Foundation is searching for motivated youth between the ages of 13 and 24 to model in its 1st Annual AIDS/HIV awareness fashion show event, called Love Is Red Youth Rocking the Runway. The online deadline has been extended to Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 11:59 P.M. EST. TC Wallace Foundation will also hold a live modeling call Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the Watha T. Daniel-Shaw Neighborhood Library in Washington, D.C. from 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M EST.

Love Is Red Youth Rocking the Runway will feature thirty remarkable models who will display a plethora of ready-to-wear apparel provided exclusively by local designers and corporate retailers. This is one of the most significant events in the local DC community and gives models the exposure to over 400 participants and 1.2 million online viewers.

Love Is Red Youth Rocking the Runway models will be deeply involved with raising awareness on AIDS/HIV and in assisting the organization in its fundraising efforts. All model participants are required to raise a minimum of $200 before August 17, 2012 to participate in the fashion show. Funds raised will aid in providing scholarships to young people affected by AIDS/HIV, helping them to move forward with their lives and attend college. The male and female model to raise the most funds, will be honored as Mr. & Miss Love Is Red during the fashion show event, their photo and information will be on the website year round and used in our promotional efforts for the consecutive event.
