MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.- NBC’s The Voice star and country music artist Jared Blake is scheduled to perform at Boathouse Waterway and Grill in Myrtle Beach.

The concert, scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. on July 20, is an all-ages show and will be a part of Blake’s 2012 “Don’t Mind” tour.  There is no price for admission so all are encouraged to come enjoy the show.

Tour dates for artist Jared Blake have nearly doubled since the announcement of his 2012 “Don’t Mind” tour schedule. Blake vowed to hit the road hard upon the end of season one of NBC’s hit show “The Voice.” His efforts began on a 2011 acoustic tour and continued on for a full-band schedule throughout 2012, which included clubs, fairs, festival, private events, and media visits.

Blake’s single “Don’t Mind” has gained significant radio attention. In May 2012, Blake’s single topped five straight weeks amongst a battle that included Scotty McCreery, Randy Houser, Montgomery Gentry, LoCash Cowboys, and even his own mentor, Blake Shelton. The win on 99.5’s tri-state station landed Jared Blake into the “Country Whuppin’” hall of fame.
Jared Blake is an American country music singer whom resides in Nashville, Tennessee. A Sony/ATV and Love Monkey Music (Bob DiPiero) songwriter first, his passion to perform was quickly realized. He appeared on the debut season of the hit television show The Voice (U.S. season 1); a singing competition which aired on NBC. Season one coaches included Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton. Jared was the final selection to complete Team Blake.  NBC and Universal Republic Records released recordings of the songs performed. Blake's vocal performances broke into the charts with the first release, "Not Ready to Make Nice", reaching No.16 and "Use Somebody", also reaching No.16 on iTunes charts. His songs have appeared in the charts more than 50 times since June 2011.
