2012 Rockers In Recovery Music Festival

July 15, 2012 - PRLog -- Rockers In Recovery Music Festival is a campout for ALL people in recovery or supporters of the recovery movement. It will be held November 2-4, 2012 at CB Smith Park 900 N Flamingo Road, Pembroke Pines, Florida, 33028, (20 Minutes From Fort Lauderdale Airport). The entire festival will be closed to the public.

It’s a mini Woodstock, minus the drugs and alcohol, but add music and fellowship! It is being produced by Rockers In Recovery Inc., a not for profit corporation. Our mission since 2008 has been to lend support to musicians and music lovers who are in recovery, or support recovery. Rockers In Recovery is dedicated to music, news, interviews, events, and festivals taking place within the clean and sober community.

Our Festival is promoting music, fun and harmony among our fellows. There will be a 24-hour marathon-meeting tent for all fellowships and special interest meetings.
There will be a children’s tent with crafts and activities all day. Food and recovery merchandise vendors will be on site as well.

We will have 20 bands playing on the main stage every hour through the weekend. An open mic party will be held on the main stage Sunday morning.
RIR Festival will be held in the area of CB Smith Park called The Concert Green.
299 Acers at CB Smith Park provide the following fun for all:
On Site Lake with tent camping, rv camping, water skiing, fishing, tennis, golf, and swimming.

Due to campground capacity we can only sell 1000 tickets, so please book early.

Camping at CB Smith Park: This 299-acre site is one of Broward County Parks and Recreation’s most diverse parks, as well as one of its most popular. The park offers a large campground, a tennis complex, a family golfing center, and many other amenities.
