Follow on Google News | Asia Pacific Cultural Center and Showcase Seattle to Co-Host INFUSION Arts FestivalINFUSION, a three day arts festival. With over 47 countries and 60 artists participating, INFUSION will be the largest Asia-Pacific arts festival of its kind in the area.
By: Showcase Seattle INFUSION will take place from November 16th through the 18th, at the Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center in Tacoma, WA. The three-day festival will also directly benefit the development of a 400,000 sq. foot Asian Pacific Cultural Center, to help sustain local arts, and support the enhancement of Asian-Pacific culture and education. Faaluaina Pritchard, Executive Director of Asia Pacific Cultural Center believes that “Infusion showcases the APCC commitment to sustaining the arts and enhance the culture in the Pacific Northwest.” With so many shared artistic and global principles, it was only a matter of time before the Asia Pacific Cultural Center and Showcase Seattle partnered together for such an event. Chaitra Vedullapalli, Executive Director of Showcase Seattle says “Infusion is the result of community partnership that showcases the unique facets of culture and art of Asia pacific region which has long term economic impact for Washington State” Established in 1996, the Asia Pacific Cultural Center (APCC) serves as an interactive cultural crossroads between local and international communities, by bridging East and West through Asia Pacific arts, culture, education, and business. Since the launch of its online marketplace earlier this year, Showcase Seattle has made serious waves in the Pacific Northwest arts scene, by empowering local artists and artisans to reach global markets. Utilizing the APCC platform of Asia Pacific arts, Showcase Seattle will provide showcasing and networking opportunities for artists at the event, an online gallery of artists, and a virtual event broadcast, making INFUSION a one-of-a-kind festival in its global reach.
