Xeretec merges with North East Reprographics and Solution X

July 17, 2012 - PRLog -- In a move that secures its position as Xerox’s largest Managed Print Service Provider in the UK, and a top five Xerox reseller in Europe, Xeretec - a leading integrator of digital print hardware, software, solutions and services in the UK and Ireland - has announced a strategic merger with Aberdeen-based North East Reprographics (NER) and Solution X, based in the Highlands. The best-of-breeds merger combines the companies’ complementary skills and knowledge to form a powerful, united Group. It will offer an unrivalled breadth and depth of expertise across office, light and heavy production print technology, as well as an enriched portfolio of Managed Print Services (MPS) for customers across Europe.

The merger has increased the Group’s footprint in the UK. In addition to the extended coverage, the Group will deliver an enhanced helpdesk facility, field-based dedicated customer service agents and the provision of additional client services. This will result in an optimised customer experience, delivering real customer benefits.

NER was founded in 1995, in Scotland and the North East. It has strong links with all business sectors in this area including gas and oil-related organisations. It has a reputation for service excellence, bolstered by an established help desk facility in Aberdeen, and dedicated service agents. Solution X was founded in 2002 in the Highlands, Islands and Moray. It too has achieved considerable success servicing the needs of the public sector and customers throughout the Highlands and Islands. To assure continuity in its local markets and to existing customers following the merger, John Sheran will remain Managing Director of NER and Solution X.
