Participate to the Second Annual Pittsburgh Presidential Salute Your Troops Gala!

July 19, 2012 - PRLog -- (Pittsburgh, PA)– Pittsburgh Social Exchange proudly announces the forthcoming 2nd Annual Pittsburgh Presidential Salute Your Troops Gala. They are inviting everyone to take part in this event which will be held on the 15th of August Wednesday 6:30 to 10:00 PM at the Pittsburgh’s Grand Hall at the Priory. This special event is a celebration of an awareness mission for veterans through the special program that the organization has formed known as the Team River Runner.

Pittsburgh Social Exchange is a group that aims to support the unsung heroes of the United States also known as the veterans who has worked their whole lives fighting for the country. They recognize the presence, nobility and valor of these individuals who are most commonly neglected by the society that they belong to. What most people do not know is that many of the veterans who served the country are now homeless, disadvantaged, disabled, a misunderstood.

Through the Team River Runner, veterans are being aided by trainers in order for them to get their lives back on track and in living a healthy lifestyle through water sports. By navigating river ways and waterways, veterans are healed and engaged back into their proactive and fun lifestyle.
