July 22, 2012 - PRLog -- Coach and Author Versandra Kennebrew partners with USANA Health Sciences to help women entrepreneurs live more balanced, healthy and fulfilled lives. On Thursday, July 26, 2012 from 5p – 7p, friends of VKI (Versandra Kennebrew International) will celebrate V-Day, An Elevation Celebration and the launch of a new and improved women’s empowerment program at Coach Insignia located at 100 Renaissance Center, 72nd Floor inside the GM building, Downtown Detroit, MI.

For more than a decade Versandra Kennebrew has introduced to the masses holistic options for optimal health and through the recent partnership with USANA Health Sciences, a global health and wellness company, Kennebrew plans to empower women entrepreneurs to ignite their imaginations and reinvent themselves. Based on her latest e-book the “Art of Reinventing You: Ignite Your Imagination,” (available exclusively on Amazon.com) Kennebrew will provide small groups of 5-10 women with 2-hr Ignite Your Imagination Retreats designed to give women a safe space to be relaxed and rejuvenated.

In the “Art of Reinventing You: Ignite Your Imagination,” Kennebrew takes readers on a journey of stillness and awareness, noting that the busy lives most entrepreneurial women lead do not foster creativity and vision. Kennebrew believes that the mundane “work-family-work” cycle puts women at risk for not only physical health challenges but mental health challenges as well. Although Kennebrew bases a lot of her reinvention work around her personal journey as an entrepreneur who overcame homelessness and mental health challenges brought on by poor nutrition and emotional imbalance, her mental health education at WCCCD (Wayne County Community College District) has also given her tools to help others self-evaluate and incorporate lifestyle adjustments to improve their health and well-being.

Participants of the Ignite Your Imagination Retreats will engage in an on-line Health Assessment powered by USANA Health Sciences and receive lifestyle recommendations from the health experts. They will also receive Ignite your Imagination Journals and create their own Ignite Your Imagination Soundtracks to play during their “power hour.” When the 2-hr sessions have ended, participants will go home with tools and resources to support the creativity and innovation women entrepreneurs are recognized for and they will have established a bond with other phenomenal women who they may work with in future endeavors. Most of all, their health will become more of a priority in their lives because as nurturers women must manage their own health in order to best support their family and loved ones.
