Angel Rose, Two-Time Grammy Nominee, To Grace the Audience on the GingerNewYork TV Show, NYC

July 23, 2012 - PRLog -- Angel Rose is a vocalist, composer, arranger, actress and dancer! Legendary director, Michael Bennett recognized Angel's talent and requested that she join the national company of his highly acclaimed production "Dreamgirls."  As lead understudy, Ms. Rose contributed greatly to the historic tour of this classic, with venues in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and of course, Broadway in New York City.

Angel was honored to be the featured vocalist for Stevie Wonder and Dizzy Gillespie's collaboration, the Grammy nominated recording, "Closer to the Source." Quincy Jones, George Duke, Teddy Riley and Glenn Ballard are among the notable producers who have selected her to record with a diverse roster of artists, truly the elite of the industry, such as: Michael Jackson, Anita Baker, Herbie Hancock, Chaka Kahn, Vanessa Williams, and Celine Dion.  

A milestone in Angel's career was her association with industry great, Bruce Springsteen, where she was selected to join his camp for Springsteen's 1993 MTV special and international tour.

As lead vocalist, Angel Rose is featured with the Jazz/Pop trio Full Swing, whose 1989 recording "End of the Sky" won a Grammy nomination.  Angel was also among the lead vocalists whose talents contributed to George Duke's "101 North" commercial and critical success.  

Motion picture and television credits for Ms. Rose include the feature film soundtrack of "Fried Green Tomatoes," Patti Labelle's network television special, "Out All Night," The Late Show with Jay Leno, The Ricky Lake Show, The David Letterman Show, Regis and Kathy Lee, and BET with Ramsey Lewis (Urban Knights).

In addition to Angel's highlights, she has done numerous jingle ads, among them were for Burlington Coat Factory and also writings for commercials like AT&T and the Stella Doro Company.  Ms. Rose has even composed a jingle for the GingerNewYork TV Show that will debut in September!

Other writings and recordings Angel has accomplished include dance tracks for European circulation as well as lending her expertise to jazz artists such as Hubert Lewis and jazz guitarist, Norman Brown.
