ISTA Network Group Raleigh, NC Introduces Actors Casting Call & Mixer with Production Companies

July 24, 2012 - PRLog -- Raleigh, N.C. (July 23, 2012) – Inside the Area Network Group will host a Casting Call and Mixer on Sunday, July 29, 2012 from 6:00pm – 9:00pm at the Blue Martini Bar & Lounge 2701 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC. Doors open at 5:00 pm.  The Sunday event is FREE and open to everyone in the industry, but registration is required. Register online at http://istagroupcasting-efbevent.eventbrite.com/

Raleigh N. C. and surrounding areas have come so far that they have earned respect in the entertainment industry. Many hidden treasures come from these small towns.

“ISTA Network has a long-standing commitment to promoting diversity in the entertainment industry through a variety of projects administered by Local Independent Production Companies.” said Taimika Morris, Founder of Inside the Network.” The Casting Project offers an excellent opportunity for talent to audition for a number of roles simultaneously.” Morris continued.

The audition process consists of three rounds:

Round 1:  1-2 minutes is a monologue time, including Actor introduction.
(If Actor makes it to round two they will be given a side to read).
Round 2:  Actor read their assigned part of the script that they receive.
Round 3: Actor will be asked to come back and read with a cast member from the Casting Call.

Sponsors, vendors, and advertisers participating in the event will gain exposure through Facebook, Twitter, flyers, and email blasts before and after the event. Inside the Area will work diligently to develop an elegant event that is beneficial to all participants.
