Dr. Neal Sikka, Director of Innovative Practice at GWU, Joins INADEV Corporation Board of Advisors

Aug. 14, 2012 - PRLog -- Neal Sikka, MD FACEP, has joined the Board of Advisors of INADEV Corporation - http://www.inadev.com – a leading mobile application development company for the government and commercial sectors. Dr. Sikka is Director of the Innovative Practice and Telemedicine Section at George Washington University.  He is also a Board Certified Emergency Physician at The George Washington University Hospital.  Dr. Sikka is a recognized leader in the mobile health space and is involved with a number of mHealth research projects, including a McKesson Foundation Grant, a CMMI Health Innovation Award, multiple publications, and presentations at meetings of the American Telemedicine Association, Mobile Health Expo, FNIH Mobile Health Summit, the FDA, CTIA, and HIMSS. Dr. Sikka is also the course director of a popular multidisciplinary mHealth course taught at GWU.

Dr. Sikka is currently working on applying telemedicine and mobile solutions to remote medical needs in the arena of acute emergency care. Specifically, he is researching how emergency triage can be better delivered through mobile technology. Dr. Sikka oversees the delivery of telemedicine advice to ships at sea, to remote clinics and teams, as well as correctional facilities.
Dr. Sikka completed medical school at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and Emergency Medicine Residency at The George Washington University.  He is an Associate Professor in Department of Emergency Medicine and a faculty member since 2003. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
