AITO Agents welcomes three new members

July 27, 2012 - PRLog -- Based in Luton, Double S Travel was founded in 1985 and specialises in leisure, cruising and business travel. The agent has an array of awards under its belt, including being shortlisted/finalists numerous times for Travel Agent of the Year at the Travel Agent Achievements Awards.
Based in Milton Keynes, Cambourne Travel opened in 1974 and is a family-run business offering leisure and business travel.  
And with offices in Leighton Buzzard in Bedfordshire and Wellingborough in Northamptonshire, Bailey’s Travel was founded in 1988 and prides itself on offering quality, impartial advice in a relaxed environment.

Steve Pattenden of Double S Travel says: “We decided to become an AITO agent mainly because our clientele has shifted from being predominantly mass market ‘bucket and spade’, to higher-end, tailor-made and niche holidays – typically what AITO operators offer.
Our choice of operator is important to us. Ideally they will not be owned by or linked to any of the ‘big boys’. We are getting a little tired of being courted when they need us and dropped when they don’t.  We look for long-term, reliable relationships with the tour operators we deal with. AITO seems to be the ideal organisation as they share our philosophy and we look forward to establishing strong relationships with them.”
Brian Rudd of Cambourne Travel says: “We have become an AITO Agent for two important reasons – to widen the choice of holidays that we can offer to our existing clients and to attract new clients who currently believe that we only sell traditional package holidays.”
