July 29, 2012 - PRLog -- Searching for that masterpiece to put in your living room? Presenting the Gran Via Suspension Lamp by Tango Lighting, made of handblown textured glass. This lamp has a special peculiarity. This suspended lamp lights in two ways: directly over an object and diffusing ambiance creating light. . The diffuser is made out of the same glass as some antique streetlamps which even today can be found on the Gran Via in Barcelona. The glass gives the lamp a special and unique texture which irradiates the light, creating a very special halo

This time Joan Gaspar has looked for his inspiration in the city, in one of the most emblematic streets of Barcelona. He has designed a lamp that sieves the light through an engraved opal blown glass. Gran Via illuminates with a diffused beam creating a warm and pleasant atmosphere. It is a subtle tribute to the Mediterranean city.

Marset’s lamps are contemporary. Through the application of technical precision and creativity, Marset constantly aim to discover new functions to provide other uses for long lasting lamps. This constant quest for new directions, combined with curiosity and ability to envisage the shape of things to come, has led to the pieces in the collection.
