July 30, 2012 - PRLog -- College Application Training announced today that they will be offering a free college application pror parents and students to mark the official release date of the Common Application on Wednesday, August 1st in Dana Point, CA, according to Founder, Chelsea Hackett.

"We are very excited about offering this free program for parents and students as they officially begin the college application process," said Chelsea. "The Common Application is released on this date, and our program is a great way for students to get a jump start on the process. We’ve decided to offer it free of charge so as many students as possible can benefit."

The program entitled "Master Your College Application - Get Into Your #1 College Choice" will provide a complete college application preparation overview. In less than 90 minutes, both parents and students will know how to get into college by raising their SAT/ACT Test scores, how to create winning college applications, how to succeed in college, and even how to pay for college!

College Application Training was founded by Chelsea Hackett, who has over 20 years experience with the college application process. A merit scholar at USC, Chelsea combined her academic education and professional experience to create the College Application Training proprietary curriculum. By combining organizational skills learned from juggling multiple scripts and productions with college test prep and writing coaching, she has created a specialized program to train students to create winning college applications with maximum individuality and minimum stress. Assisting is Business Director Andy Watkins, J.D., who has over 15 years experience as a financial consultant and bilingual (Japanese) corporate attorney. He works with families to financially prepare them for college and optimize the amount of financial aid parents and student are eligible to receive. The Common Application (www.CommonApp.org) is a not-for-profit organization that provides a college admission application both online and in print that students may submit to any of the 456 member colleges or universities. In 2011, almost 2.5 million college applications were submitted via the online method.
