OMNI Systems Announces Upgraded Business Rating by Dun & Bradstreet

The Dun & Bradstreet Rating is the most widely used credit rating in American business, and provides an accurate assessment of a company’s overall creditworthiness and risk of default. A company’s Dun & Bradstreet rating is made up of two basic components, a Ratings Classification and a Risk Indicator.

The Rating Classification is computed by D&B when a company submits D&B with financial statements; it indicates a range of the company’s net worth or equity. Omni received a rating of 3A which is reserved for companies with net worth between $1M and $1B.

The Risk Indicator reflects D&B’s assessment of overall credit worthiness (risk of default) and is calculated by taking into account key items (financial resources, working capital, cash flow, etc.) that are used to predict the likelihood of a business failure. Omni received the lowest Risk Indicator of 1 which implies a “Strong Condition” of its finances. This rating is reserved for companies of unquestionable credit standing and financial strength.
