31st Annual Realty Round Up: It’s a Round Up! Event is Free

Aug. 1, 2012 - PRLog -- AUSTIN, Texas – August 1, 2012– Practice your two-step and break out your boots because Realty Round Up is about to celebrate its 31st year in wild western style. It’s a Round Up! is the theme of the event scheduled for October 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Realty Round Up will be hosted at the Austin Convention Center, located at 500 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas 78701. New this year, the entire event is free—even parking.

The 2012 Realty Round Up will offer attendees access to a showcase of the latest real estate products and services from a host of local and national exhibitors. Two free MCE courses will also be available twice each during the day. The event will feature two keynote speakers. From ABC’s show Shark Tank, founder and CEO of clothing company FUBU Daymond John will share tips for negotiation, boosting sales and increasing productivity. Additionally, Research Economist Dr. Jim Gaines from the Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University will return to address current economic issues and expected trends for the 2013 housing market.

Further event highlights include drawings for prizes, such as free membership and MLS for a year. Attendees can be entered into the drawings by getting their punch cards, a new feature at this year’s Realty Round Up, punched at designated exhibitor booths. To cap off the day, the Austin Board of REALTORS® (ABoR) and Austin Young Real Estate Professionals (AYREP) will host an after party with details to come.
