With the rapid development of modern technology, the more advanced version of camera jumps into our life——digital camera. The digital version of camera is a camera that takes video or still photographs by recording images on an electronic image sensor. Most cameras sold today are digital, and digital cameras are incorporated into many devices ranging from PDAs and mobile phones (called camera phones) to vehicles.

While most people enjoy the convenience of digital camera, some people bring up the concern that digital camera may kill the beneficial aspect of traditional camera. For example, the digital camera doesn’t have film installed inside camera, those who own a digital camera may probably not develop the film. Instead, most of people may choose store the digital photos in the camera or upload the photo into their personal computer or other mobile devices. This can be and have already been a big destruction to the film industry. On the other hand, the digital camera can store far more photo than the traditional film-developed camera, which can save much space and take more photos. It brings much convenience when we taking photos outside. We don't need to worry about lack of film during playing time. In previous we could only take 36 images for 1 film.

If we need to take more images we need to replace with a new empty film. If we are unlucky we may bring the used film flashed. Then photos installed in the film are destroyed. None of them can reserve. For a digital camera we have no such worry. Take a big capacity memory card 2GB, 4GB or even 16GB you can take photos for 1 month or more continuously so long as battery is not exhausted.

The consideration of environment protection is what counts most, so the existence of digital camera is unquestionably a step forward.
