Sex Work is a soulless activity and most of the women on the streets of Zimbabwe end up having a Chauya Chauya (Whatever comes…comes) attitude. They feel hopeless and not in control of their destiny so sometimes they make choices that are detrimental to their future health. Its disturbing how some men would rather have sex with a Sex Worker without a condom and offer a danger fee for the privilege. Chauya Chauya: A Risky Life looks at Prostitution and its implication on the women who work on the streets of Zimbabwe.

The choices they make to survive another day such as accepting danger fees, especially on nights when they are more girls competing for a few clients on the streets. Different women talk candidly about why they got into this murky industry and dream of one day getting out. Working on the streets can be compared to living on death row as Aids lurks in the dark, waiting to strike.

Chauya Chauya: A Risky Life is a must see 69 minute gritty Documentary that documents Africa's most dangerous profession. Some of the proceeds from this Documentary will go towards helping girls that work on the streets of Zimbabwe to acquire new skills that might give them the opportunities to find a better way.
