.Dr. Wesley K. Hong, Practice Owner

After graduating, Dr. Hong worked and furthered his small animal practical experience in hospitals located in Pennsylvania and Northern Virginia. In 1984, he opened Minnieville Animal Hospital, where he has provided several animals with quality care and has established many long term clients, whom he considers like family.  Dr. Hong possesses a special interest in orthopedic surgery.  As an avid Christian, he enjoys, and is involved in church activities and missionary work.  Dr. Hong is a strong believer in family values, and has a long standing marriage to his lovely wife and also has two grown sons.  He has been a supporter of Friends of the Homeless Animals and currently works closely with The Prince William County Animal Shelter to aid in controlling the population of homeless animals by promoting spaying and neutering. The Guide Dog Foundation also has been a project that Dr. Hong has become avidly involved with in recent years.   Years in Practice:28.

Dr. Lori L. Waite

Dr. Lori Waite grew up in northern Virginia where, as a teenager, she worked as a manager, technician, and receptionist at Minnieville Animal Hospital. She received a bachelor’s of science degree in Biology at Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina, where she graduated with foreign language honors in Spanish. After receiving her degree, she attended St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine on the Caribbean Island of Grenada, and then transferred after two years to Iowa State University. In May of 2009, Dr. Waite obtained her veterinary degree from Iowa State. She has a special interest in dermatology and surgery. She has been an avid supporter of the Feral Cat Alliance, the Humane Society, and is an active member of the American Veterinary Association. Dr. Waite has a tuxedo kitty and a Chihuahua who are her pride and joy. In her spare time, Dr. Waite enjoys outdoor activities such as boating and also enjoys traveling.
