Virtual Command announces Mike Ruff as Director of Channel Sales.

Beginning in August, Mike Ruff has joined Virtual Command as the Director of Channel Sales.

Ruff has a worthy record within the IT industry, with over 20 years of Information Technology sales experience in the hardware, software and IT systems space. He has recruited and grown business partner channel sales for industry leaders such as IBM, 3com, Informix and Shiva. In addition, Ruff has utilized his knowledge and experience in developing and growing revenue for a variety of sectors - from small, entrepreneurial organizations to industry giants.

"Over the last two decades, the channel has witnessed many changes and evolutions of partner and vendor ecologies, particularly in the IT space," Ruff said. Originally from Georgia, Ruff graduated from Valdosta State University with a dual degree in Business Administration and Economics. He has been married for twenty-nine years to his wife, Suzanne, and they make their home northeast of Metro Atlanta. When Ruff isn't conquering channel markets, he participates in an inline hockey league and enjoys golf.
