FPRA SW FL to discuss state PR conference and install new leaders September 11

Aug. 17, 2012 - PRLog -- Join the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA), Southwest Florida Chapter on September 11 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theater, 1380 Colonial Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33907 for its monthly business luncheon and annual installation of new officers.

The local FPRA chapter had 15 members attend the statewide conference held from August 5-8 at the Renaissance Hotel in St. Augustine, FL, including four members through chapter scholarships. Samantha Scott, APR; Melissa Cofta, APR; Karen Ryan, APR, CPRC; and Sarah Nadal will form a panel to discuss the highlights of the trip and share their experiences, tips and insights.

The new slate of officers for 2012-2013 will also be installed, to be led by incoming president Jessica Clark, APR, Public Relations Coordinator at Shell Point Retirement Community.

The cost to attend the luncheon meeting is $20 for members, $25 for nonmembers, and $10 for students with advance reservations. Walk-ins are welcome for an additional $5. Reservations at http://www.fpraswfl.org.
