Pit Bulls “Up In Smoke” BBQ Team Prepares for Our Hometown Competition

Aug. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- As yet another year quickly passes, the Pit Bulls “Up In Smoke” BBQ Team is preparing for our hometown contest, practically located in our own backyard.  The Pigs & Peaches BBQ Competition is set to take place on August 24th & 25th, 2012 and we are looking forward to making our hometown of Kennesaw proud this year!  This will be our third year competing in the event and, in past years, have done well,  finishing in the top 5.  We are shooting for the Grand Champion accolade this year and will work hard, as always, to try to achieve our goal.

The city of Kennesaw hosts this great event and the festival features plenty of great barbecued meats as well as great desserts and live entertainment.  This competition is part of the Georgia State Championship so we are definitely focusing on our points.  Every point matters for the Championshisp so it is crucial that we have a flawless cook.  We will be up against some great competition again this year.  Aside from Pit Bulls "Up In Smoke", other big teams such as Bareknuckles BBQ, Barrons BBQ Team, Bub-ba-Q, Deep South BBQ, Hogz gone Wild GA, Hogz Gone Wild GA, Johnny Mitchells BBQ, Kudzu Q, Major Q, Mrs. T's BBQ, Old Plantation BBQ, Pig Whisperers, Que-n Stew-n Brew-n, South Pork, The Pit Crew, TNT Southern BBQ, Wicked Q, and many others will be competing at the event.  

The Pigs & Peaches BBQ Festival will be held at Adams Park in downtown Kennesaw.  Come by and see us, taste some great BBQ, visit with friends, enjoy the festivities and root your favorite teams on.  Oh, and look for our new Pit Bulls “Up In Smoke” rig – look forward to seeing everyone there!
