Follow on Google News | ![]() Texas Judge's Civil War Prediction Eerily Similar To Upcoming Graphic NovelA recent interview with a County Judge in Lubbock Texas raises the specter of a UN-force invasion of a Texas Republic and shows a striking similarity to the plot of an upcoming graphic novel, "Republic."
Similar plot lines, similar concerns, similar forebodings. "I was shocked and amused to see the Judge's comments," says Howard Clarke, owner of Western Gate Books (www.westerngatebooks.com) Clarke is referring to a quickly spreading and notorious interview that County Judge Tom Head had with FOX 34 News in Lubbock Texas. The judge was quoted as being concerned about an invasion of Texas, should Barack Obama be re-elected. The judge said he would meet an invading force at the border. The interview was picked up by Drudge and several other media outlets. The judge now finds himself in a small firestorm, but he is unapologetic. A strange coincidence, publisher Howard Clarke says. "But maybe not so strange. It just reflects the anxieties of modern America and a conservative state with a history of independence." End
