Tools needed for truck diagnosis and programming Xcar360 Support

Trucks are constructed with a quick diagnostic system that runs when the engine is started. If truck lights come on (or do not go out after the start up), It means that the computer which controls your engine has detected some kind of problem in the computer control system and has stored a “Diagnostic Trouble Code” (DTC) which identifies the fault it has detected.

Note the shape of the light or the code that is shown. The most common problems indicated by the lights and translations for the codes usually begin with the letter: P, B, C and U:

“P” codes are Powertrain related, mainly the engine and transmission (i.e. P0201 is a fault with the #1 injector, P1870 is a transmission slip fault)
“B” codes are Body related (Heat/Air Condition, Lamp circuits, etc…)
“C” codes are Chassis related, mainly ABS
“U” codes are communication codes
