By: Grandma J's Local Kitchen Recently opened by the tatted-up, cowboy boot wearing, Burlesque Night hosting, Industry native, Layla Krause, the breakfast joint owner knows how to make her industry friends feel welcome. Brunch guests can now enjoy new menu items like, Fried Chicken & Waffle Fritters, paired with fresh mimosa juice platters to cure the aches and shame from the night before. “Grandma J’s has an incredible brunch! All the ingredients are fresh, local and the food is totally prepared with love. Great coffee and sweets to boot! Cheers! ” Says, Frog, well-known bartender at Big Star, Simone’s and wherever shifts need covered around the city. On top of fresh food, flowing morning-after remedies, near-comedic performances by staff and guests, Industry employees can now enjoy a 10% discount when they bring in clock-out slips or check stubs. Grandma J’s also introduced a new weekly lunch special from 9a-3p Mon.-Fri. for everyone to enjoy. Guests can now choose a half portion of one of the delicious Sammy’s and one of five homemade sides, including the newly added soup of the day.
