Laxacin™ is an effective combination laxative and stool softener that is safe for children and adults when taken in the proper dosages and provides relief within 4-6 hours. Laxacin, unlike the majority of constipation treatments, contains two active ingredients: Ducosate sodium, a stool softener, and Sennosides, which stimulates and increases the motility of the gastrointestinal tract.  Until now, consumers were faced with choosing of choosing one treatment or the other.  


Adverse Reactions: Patients are advised to consult their physicians promptly if they experience any of the following symptoms: Please consult your physician promptly if you experience severe diarrhea, muscle weakness, nausea, vomiting, unusual weight loss, or allergic reactions such as skin rash, itching, or hives, swelling of the face, lips, or tongue that occurs. Less severe effects may include: bloating, abdominal cramps, or discolored urine.

Patients who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or children under the age of two should use Laxacin only under a physician’s supervision.

Interactions: Although interactions are not expected, this medication may affect the time other medicines stay in the stomach. It is best not to take this medicine within 1 to 2 hours of taking other medicines.
