By: M M S The hard work has paid off for one Peveril Homes employee, as Anabel Rooksby has been promoted to land manager from her previous role as land buyer. Anabel, from Nottingham, has worked for the Belper-based house-builder for five years, and in the last 12 months also, on top of her day to day activities, she has also qualified as a chartered surveyor. Her new role will see her become involved in more complex housing projects across the Midlands. She will take on full responsibility for identifying land which is for sale for residential development and liaising closely with local authorities. Anabel said: “Working for Peveril over the last five years has been a real learning curve but extremely enjoyable at the same time. I’m so pleased to have been recognised by Peveril – it makes all the hard work worth it.” James Smith, land director for Peveril Homes, commented: “Anabel is a really dedicated member of the team, and this promotion is certainly well deserved. I have no doubt that she will bring a great deal of knowledge and expertise to her new role.” Peveril Homes is one of the Midlands’ leading house-builders, with a reputation for achieving a consistently high quality of build in traditional homes, combining new design and technology to develop housing which meets the demands of 21st-century living.
