Follow on Google News | ![]() Non-profits and government agencies and community organizations partner for the BlindNextStep & Greater Salem Technology Equity Project donated 3 blind-accessible computer systems running free, open-source software to Sunnyside Organics. Oregon Commission for the Blind partners with Sunnyside to deliver training to blind clients.
By: NextStep Recycling Sunnyside Organics will host an open house on Thursday, September 20th at its River Street Training Center (105 River St. NE) from noon untill 5:30pm, where people can visit and see the new computer lab. Sunnyside Organics will also hold a private Appreciation Dinner event later that day at 6:00 pm at Gamberetti’s Restaurant in Salem as a thank you to the people involved in this project. The dinner will feature local foods grown by clients of Sunnyside Organics.
