By: Stories To Tell With the boom in self publishing and e-books authors need answers: how to work with editors and book designers, who should print or publish their books, and how to market their books. “Bring us your draft manuscript, finished or unfinished,” Stories To Tell, an author services firm founded by Nancy Barnes, provides manuscript evaluations, editing, book design and publishing consulting services. “We help authors to choose the best publishing strategy for their books, so that they don’t pay for services they don’t need,” said Barnes. “We also help them prepare their manuscript for submission to a publisher or agent. If the author is self-publishing, we help with every step – editing, design, and publishing.” The Festival is sponsored by the Sonoma County Literary Guild. It runs from 10:00 a. m to 4:00 p.m. in downtown Santa Rosa and features presentations by individual authors and panels, and 99 exhibitors. Admission is free. Authors can meet with the editors at the Stories To Tell booth. For more information about how Stories To Tell helps authors, visit the company’s website at http://www.StoriesToTellBooks.com.
