V3Gate Selected As Sub-Contractor for $43 Billion Navy Seaport-e Contract

Sept. 11, 2012 - PRLog -- RESTON, VA.  – V3Gate, a certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and trusted provider of IT solutions to the US Government, today announced they have been selected as a official sub-contractor for the Navy SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) contract.  V3Gate is member of a team led by prime contractor Spectrum Systems Inc., a leading technology services company who was awarded the contract last month.

This Multiple Award Contract (MAC) is used by the U.S. Navy to address ongoing engineering, technology and program management requirements across twenty-two functional areas.  V3Gate, under prime contractor Spectrum Systems, expects to build upon this contract to expand its successful relationship with the Navy as a provider of infrastructure related IT services.   V3Gate will participate in five (5) Geographic Zones that cover the Northeast, National Capital Area, Mid-Atlantic, Southwest and Northwest regions of the United States.

The SeaPort-e program has a potential value of $43 billion over fifteen years.  It is an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) vehicle established to facilitate a Navy-wide electronic procurement process that leverages buying power, improves business intelligence, and reduces purchasing time. SeaPort-e has a three-year base period with possible extensions for seven additional years.
