Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority,Inc. Psi Rho Omega Launches Annual Family Free Shopping Spree Sept. 15

Sept. 11, 2012 - PRLog -- Psi Rho Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha is at it once again!

The 29 member strong sorority, is hosting its 2nd annual "Family Free Shopping Spree Event" in Leesburg, Virginia on September 15, 2012.  

Event chairman Lena Hickman Miott commented, "This will be our 3rd year running this important event.  It is our chance to work closely each fall with our neighbors, and the greater community to help those in need of quality clothing, shoes and other items procure these items before the holiday and winter season is upon us."

Chapter President Monica A. Hutcherson agreed, "Our first two years of running this program when we were an "official interest" group went very well.  We have great expectations for this year's shopping spree.  We have already collected a great deal of clothing and items that those who are in need will be greatly blessed by having during the fall and winter months ahead."
