Lombardi Aguilar Attorney delivers presentation on Panama government procurement rules

Sept. 12, 2012 - PRLog -- Lombardi Aguilar Group attorney Rodolfo Espino spoke on the changes to the Government Procurement law before members of the The American Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Panama (AmCham Panama) Legislation & Taxation Committee.

Mr. Espino provided a summary of the changes to Law 22 of 2006 after implementation of the Panamacompra e-procurement website and the new government procurement tribunal.  He explained how businesses can take advantage of the new provisions to ensure acceptance of a successful proposal before government buyers.

Mr. Espino is a graduate of University of Panama (LLB) and has taken courses at Tamkang University, Taiwan (Political Systems).  He worked previously at the Budget Office in charge of procurement matters of the Panama National Assembly.  He serves currently as counsel in Procurement and Government Relations matters.
