Metropolis sets up its successful Greenfield venture in Hyderabad

With thisacquisition of the first green field venture in the state of Andhra Pradesh, Metropolis is all set to provide a wider test menu through state-of the art-equipment thus ensuring a faster TAT (turnaround time). With the goal to tap the diagnostic requirements of not only the high-tech city or twin cities of Hyderabad, the lab will also cater to the surrounding districts & towns of Andhra Pradesh. ‘Green field’ is the term used when a company sets up a new laboratory instead of acquiring an already existing one.  Being the7thgreen field venture for Metropolis in the financial year 12 -13, it will cater to a population of about 75lacsin and around the hi-tech city.Located in VittalRao Nagar –Madhapur with a total area of approx. 1800sq. ft., this lab will provide a more comprehensive test menu ranging from routine to super specialized tests. In addition the lab will also offer customized profiles for special patient groups like corporate, working class, cardio diabetics etc. Their value added services will include Home Health Services, web reports, SMS reports, alerts as well as disorder specific preventive health packages.
