Child Development and Bilingual Education Experts Join NBC's Education Nation Agenda

Sept. 21, 2012 - PRLog -- Watch live and participate on social media as AVANCE (ah-vahn-ceh) President and CEO, Richard J. Noriega joins early childhood education experts for a panel discussion on child development, literacy, dual language, and minority students. Moderated by MSNBC’s Alex Witt, the panel will feature one of ten case studies of schools and programs from around the country that have implemented targeted solutions in their communities, and have seen demonstrable success as a result. NBC’s Education Nation Summit brings to the forefront the most critical education issues facing the country by convening opinion leaders in education, government, business, philanthropy and media for a three-day event running through September 23rd to the 25th.

Panelists include Richard J. Noriega, President and CEO, AVANCE; Virginia Castro, principal, Geddes Elementary School; and Patricia Kuhl, Professor of Speech & Hearing Sciences, University of Washington.
