Sept. 26, 2012 - PRLog -- In the tradition of great sporting combinations such as Kenny and Sterling, Lillee and Thompson and Warne and text messages, Macca and The Method have come to mentally disintegrate the sports commentary competition in a way not seen since Steve Waugh’s nose disintegrated Jason Gillespie’s tibia in 1999.

As the spiritual, intellectual and above all, physical successors to Roy and HG, Macca and The Method are on a mission to call live sport, regardless of their knowledge – because if it runs, jumps, swims, hits, kicks, flicks, passes, bowls, throws, underarms or involves a snorkel, it’s a sport and sports were made to be called. Above all, Macca and The Method are dedicated to the use of sporting clichés – one match at a time.

“The aim of our live calls is to create a fun environment for all Australians to listen to sport. Most Aussie males watch or listen to sport and while we appeal to them we also want to allow women a chance to have a laugh while watching live sport with their partner.
“Sport is one of the greatest enjoyments for so many people and we want to add to this experience”, said Damien Timms, founder of TippyTappySports.

Macca and the Method are also known as Nikos Andronicos and Damien Timms and they have currently done live commentary on State of Origin games, this year’s Wimbledon and they covered the London Olympic Games. All commentary can be seen and heard on www.TippyTappySports.wordpress.com.

Macca: Ranked 7, seeded 3. Nikos is a Sydney-based writer, performer, filmmaker and Broncos fan. He was the head scriptwriter for Channel 10’s Ronnie Johns Half Hour and has recently written, produced and directed his first feature film, Ad Nauseum. Nikos' favourite player is Willie Carne, and he hopes one day to have the Broncos flyer open the Willie Carne Film Festival.

The Method: Ranked 9, seeded 6. Damien is a Sydney based writer, performer and Parramatta Eels tragic. He regularly does stand up in Sydney and New York. Damien is the creator of the online sports commentary site TippyTappySports. His favourite player is Ewen McGrady, although Tony Iro comes a close second.
