When it comes to a great breakfast in Pacific Beach, you can't go wrong with Mad Dogs Cafe. In addition they offer extreme hot dogs that are made with duck, venison, elk, buffalo or alligator meat. Your choice!

Sept. 27, 2012 - PRLog -- Mad Dogs Café offers a European cuisine in addition to 16 different kinds of dogs including duck, venison, elk, buffalo and alligator. Mad Dogs are sausages that are stuffed into their freshly baked baguettes with a selection of 17 different types of sauces. When you want to think outside the box and eat something really unique and special, you can’t go wrong by visiting Mad Dogs Café in Pacific Beach.

Here’s a café that is rated with 4+ stars because of their quality of food as well as the unique hot dogs that they serve. They bake all of their own baked goods such as buns, chips, crumpets, short bread and cookies, etc. Their chips are made from fresh potatoes, cooked to order, and fried in health-friendly California rice oil, and served with their own special Mad Sauce. They use mostly organic ingredients to insure the highest quality food. They also offer fresh squeezed orange juice and fresh Gelato with 16 different flavors.

The owner, Brenda Hollis is from England and she wanted to create a restaurant that offers healthy and natural food, not fast food. They will make you an Acai Bowl your way. It is built the way you want it and is brimming with fresh fruit, granola, coconut, and drizzled with honey. Who says you can’t eat healthy while at the beach?

Many of the restaurants in the Pacific Beach areas offer mostly fast food, but Brenda was determined to keep it healthy. Since opening in 2009 the restaurants reputation has grown because people know they will get fresh food, not frozen. The restaurant has become a favorite with the locals, vacationers and many international travelers as well.

When asked what she likes most about her restaurant her answer was, “When customers enjoy our food and tell us about it.” I’ve reviewed many restaurants over the years and the one thing that always stands out with the great ones is their goal. Those that have profit as their number one goal don’t always succeed. Those that have satisfied customers as their primary goal, always do. That always shows up in the reviews they receive from their customers.

The reviews for Mad Dogs Café are 4 stars on Yelp, 4.5 stars on Urbanspoon, 4 stars on Tripadvisor and 24 out of 30 on Google. That’s a good indication of what this restaurant is all about. Most people won’t even take time to write a review unless they’re either very happy or very unhappy. Reviews can’t be faked. People tell it like it is.

Mad Dogs is both pet-friendly and family-friendly and despite the name, it is a sane, affordable place to be. Stop in and meet Brenda and her son Andrew as well as the rest of the Mad Dogs gang. For more information visit: http://www.mad-dogs-cafe.com/
