Los Angeles (Monday Octoberber 1, 2012) - BSQ Magazine (Back Seat Quarterly) was launched in June of 2010 by Editor in Chief Jaron Coby and Executive Editor Aaron Young. “The vision of the magazine is to be centered on the ever evolving indie scene and all that follows in the day to day lifestyle of indie ranging from categories of music, fashion, art and poetry.” The name “Back Seat” was given due to the similarity on how the indie scene is viewed compared to the outrageous world of mainstream, thus meaning that mainstream entertainment takes the front seat to everything that is in demand, while the indie scene is viewed from the “back seat”. BSQ is steadily looking for new talent across the world and give artist a platform to represents the uprising of the indie scene because they feel this is where real music and other true talented individuals dwell, take time to listen with there ears, view with their eyes, mix thoughts and follow their hearts to give this sub-style of entertainment the appreciation it deserves not forgetting that mainstream has had some major influence on the world of indie but just want the world to know the indie scenes star shines just as bright…….even on its own..

Our mission is simple…. We are here to inspire while being inspired through every indie outlet in every city and every country. We also want to build life long relationships with the talented individuals we come across, our partners, our fans, our followers and of course to the people who might not be fans but have strong interest in the things we post and talk about.
