PRLog -- Grabill Windows and Doors played a key role in the transformation of a 19th century commercial building in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood. The once dairy distribution center is located in a landmark district that includes a desirable close proximity to Lake Michigan. Grabill worked closely with Vinci l Hamp Architects to maintain the properties historical aspects while also creating aesthetically advanced and superior performing windows and doors. The double-hung windows on the front facade compliment the rebuilt brick exterior while the entry pivot door and transom provide enhanced structural security and welcome additional light into the foyer. An interior courtyard is lined with moving glass walls that seamlessly join indoor and outdoor spaces. Clerestory windows to the west and third story common mulled units offer inviting views of the downtown skyline.
