Pro Bono Net Welcomes Karen Levy to Board of Directors

Oct. 2, 2012 - PRLog -- Pro Bono Net, a national leader in innovative programs that increase access to justice, is pleased to announce that Karen Levy, Director of Global Technology at Debevoise, has joined its Board of Directors.

Pro Bono Net works to transform the way legal help reaches the poor through innovative technology and increased collaboration. It partners with legal aid organizations to promote collaboration and maximize their impact on justice issues, connects lawyers with resources to increase pro bono involvement, and provides critical legal assistance and information directly to the public.

Prior to her current leadership position at Debevoise, Ms. Levy led the technology functions at Weil, Gotshal & Manges and Edwards Wildman Palmer.  She has also served as a legal industry consultant, advising international law firms on technology strategies and implementations.  

“I am delighted to join this distinguished board.  I look forward to working with Pro Bono Net in leveraging technology to further their mission of providing access to low cost, effective legal services.” said Ms. Levy.

Ms. Levy joins 19 other members of the Pro Bono Net board, including representatives of leading law firms, legal services organizations and companies including Microsoft, Bank of America and LexisNexis.
