Dallas Author and Literary Coach, Kennisha Hill, Tours Local Libraries with Free Workshops

Oct. 2, 2012 - PRLog -- On Saturday September 29th, Kennisha Hill held her first workshop at Lewisville Library in Lewisville, Texas. It was the start of a series of tours she has planned for aspiring author's in her community.

At Lewisville Library, Kennisha taught a session entitled, "Turning your idea into a book." At this workshop, she discussed several steps writers can use to help them further develop their book idea and write with the intend to publish. Some topics she included are: Discovering the art of blogging, Building your Table of Contents and Writing a synopsis. Kennisha gave key essentials she believes are helpful to any writer who's ready to write their book.

When asked about her overall experience teaching aspiring writers in her community, Hill says, "Writers get excited when they come together. Most of the attendee's had questions about independent publishing. I was happy to answer any questions and give clarity about the self-publishing industry. It was also encouraging to see writers engage with me." She adds, "That's the purpose of my workshops. I want to challenge writers to write and pursue their dream of being published, no matter how many questions or concerns they have. In this industry, they'll have plenty of questions. If they have an inspiring message to share, I want to help them do just that!"
