Colville, Washington Company Announces New Children’s Educational iOS App

Oct. 8, 2012 - PRLog -- Colville, WA–October 8, 2012-- Hachisoft Corp is pleased to announce the release of their latest children’s educational iPad and iPhone app, Hand Painted – Machinery. The app challenges cognitive and categorization skills, recognition and reasoning while introducing players to heavy machinery, big trucks and their drivers.

“We knew our kids would enjoy pictures of big rigs and trucks, but the educational value is also important. When kids play Hand Painted – Machines, they are challenged to consider connections between vehicles and their operators,” Said Caleb Edwards, Hachisoft Corp.  “They have to ask themselves the what, where and why types of questions to find correct matches and to ace the challenges.”

The educational game play modes in Hand Painted - Machinery introduce kids to a variety of occupations, machines and vehicles. The game features three games in one and challenges children’s observation and reasoning skills as they match vehicles to their drivers, categorize machines and operators based on specific traits and characteristics, and find visual matches by memory.

Hand Painted – Machinery showcases original paintings of over 60 vehicles and their drivers.  Each painting is hand painted by Hachisoft’s resident artist, and the development team’s sister, Mandee Edwards.

Hachisoft’s apps within the Hand Painted series help young children develop memory, letter recognition and visual identification. Hand Painted- Animals, released late October 2011, features over 100 animals from around the world and challenges children’s knowledge of animal recognition, names, classifications and basic biology.
