Follow on Google News | Hickory Creek Texas Resident Receives Needed HelpLandmark Home Foundation has selected 70 year old Kathleen Womack as a recipient of its “Help a Home” program. Kathleen has been without A/C and heating in her Texas home for over 2 years.
By: Landmark Home Warranty More about Kathleen Kathleen is a wonderful artist and devout Christian. Four years ago she used her savings to purchase her current home, right at the top of the market. Although an inspection was performed, severe problems with Carpenter ants and flooding were not disclosed or discovered. The Board of Realtors reprimanded the realtor and inspector, but nothing was done to help Kathleen pay for the repairs. Aside from Social Security, Kathleen’s sole income comes from art students she tutors in her home. The uncomfortable conditions makes this difficult for Kathleen and her students. More about Landmark Home Foundation Landmark Home Foundation is a Utah-based nonprofit funded by Landmark Home Warranty (http://www.landmarkhw.com) and other donors.
