But by any means, you knew that Harry was a person of great pride and class. It was the way he handled himself in public and his great presence that caused people to gravitate to him.

He always attracted a crowd whether he was at a restaurant in the North End or at the Suffolk Downs Racetrack on a sunny Saturday afternoon. He stood tall and handsome in his pin-striped suit and highly polished black and white shoes.

His ’55 Caddy reflected the classic dignity we all admired about him. He was so good looking and refined that all over Boston and far beyond, people from all walks of life came to know him as “Handsome Harry”.

Harry lived in a simpler time, back when, after a week of hard work he would gather with friends and reward himself with a Martini and Porterhouse at the “Top of the Hub” in downtown Boston.

It was a time when a handshake was your written contract. A time when men were gentlemen and RESPECT was your most important asset.

Harry always wanted a little gathering place of his own where his friends could get together and enjoy cold drinks, hot food and great people. And on a good night he could sing some of this favorite Sinatra tunes for his closest friends.
