New LED Column Displays Betting Odds and Greets Guests at Venetian Sports Book

Oct. 18, 2012 - PRLog -- EDISON, NJ – McCannVision, a division of McCann Systems, recently completed the addition of a 4mm LED column at the Venetian Sports and Race Book.  The column displays betting odds and greets patrons entering the Venetian Hotel & Casino Sports and Race Book in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The column, wrapped in 4mm LED boards, displays odds for feature sporting events at the Venetian. The LED column is 50” X 131” tall including over 786,400 pixels.

The addition of the LED column completes McCann Systems’ integration of state-of-the-art audiovisual design elements at the Sports Book.   In addition to the column, the 118 seat Race and Sports Book also boasts a 10’ tall by 100’ wide LED Sports Screen. The LED wall is built on a radius and delivers uncompromised image resolution, engaging the viewer in the event. The wall consists of 5.5 million LED pixels and is one of the largest 4mm black chip LED screens in existence. The black chip LED screen is capable of showing 5 feature sporting events with odds or up to 42 independent sporting events simultaneously.

Betters can also use specially crafted Race Carrels equipped with an LCD touch screen that allows them to view any broadcast event and has an interactive means of betting.
