The Real Estate Council’s Giving Gala Raised More Than $450,000

Oct. 23, 2012 - PRLog -- The Real Estate Council and presenting sponsor Deloitte. hosted the 20th annual Giving Gala on October 4 at the Hilton Anatole Sculpture Park, in which more than $450,000 was raised for the Foundation.

More than 900 attended the western-themed event, which celebrated The Real Estate Council’s members, funding partners and good works in the community and featured number one-selling country music superstar Chris Cagle and a live auction of pint-size playhouses.

Designed and built by The Real Estate Council members, the Pint Size Playhouses were themed after board games for children and were auctioned off to the highest bidder in a live auction. Mitch Paradise of Paradise Development Partners, Giving Gala chairman, said, “Our members spent hundreds of hours on these amazing playhouses, and we’re pleased that the live auction raised the most funds in our history. Also, the funds raised support our ongoing community initiatives including Klyde Warren Park, our organization’s first impact grant.”
